Product Design

I know what you're thinking. "She draws bunnies and kitties and makes books for preschoolers, so what's with this stuff?"

I adore product design, and have been creating items simultaneously with my illustration for a really long time. I have experience in all phases of product design from concept work, orthographic drawings for manufacturing, sculpting, sewing, and packaging. These days, I tend to concentrate on concept work- coming up with new ideas. I like the fast-paced nature of this work, and the challenge of creating new items that will speak to people in some way. When it comes down to it, ideas are ideas and drawing is drawing, and I love making art in many forms.
