Here is a simple but effective concept. Remember those little cannisters that “mooed” or went “baaaa” when you tipped them over? In this version, I put a “cheeping” mechanism into semi-realistic bird figurines. Shake these fine feathered friends up, and they make cute birdy noises. Can’t do that with a real goldfinch, can you? Well, you shouldn’t, at least!
